ENMU Band Alumni Reunion - June 27-29, 2002
The 2002 Reunion will be held in spite of Mr. T's untimely death. He wanted us to get together and had been looking forward to seeing everyone.
Funeral Services for Mr. T will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2:00 PM at the Central Christian Church in Portales. The Church is located on South Main Street (1528) about 15 blocks south of the square. It is a large church and seating should be no problem (there will be a crowd). For those of you who cannot arrive in time for the Funeral, we are planning a short Memorial Service after the final rehearsal on Saturday in the Theater Center.
Although flowers would be welcome, I will send some for the Band Alumni, and the family has requested that Memorial gifts be sent to the Thompson Scholarship Fund at ENMU.
There will be a reception following the concert at the home of John Olsen, Music Department Chair at 1720 S Ave L, just south of the campus. This will be a BYOB affair.
There will be a no host breakfast on Sunday Morning at Mark's Eastern Grill (formerly Sands) just north of campus.
