Making Tracks Through American History
Four friends took a 9-day vacation on an East Coast railway adventure. One wanted to visit the spots on her bucket-list she had not been able to do before, so the rest hopped on board and planned a trip to see many historic sights. From wandering the grand monuments of Washington, D.C. and dipping into legendary cheesesteaks in Philadelphia, to taking a magical bite out of the Big Apple, we let Amtrak do the driving while we soaked in every unforgettable milestone. We wrapped up our epic journey by trading city skylines for scenic countrysides, with a final train ride heading up into northern Vermont as we watched the autumn leaves explode into brilliant shades of crimson and gold.
