| I descend from the Ky. line of John and his son William Overall that came to Ky. in 1778 with George Rogers Clark and settled in Nelson County, Ky. They were from Prince William Co. Virginia. John (to Ky.) was the youngest son of John Overall and Mary Elliott Prince William Co. Va. John, Sr. died in 1742 leaving his younger son John in the care of his brother Nathaniel. I have proved John Overall for DAR for service in fighting the Indians in Ky. during the Revolution. There are quite a few of us still in Ky. |
