"The Duomo" took nearly six centuries to complete. Construction began in 1386, and the final details were completed in 1965. It is the largest church in the Italian Republic.

Teatro alla Scala is a historic opera house in Milan, Italy. The theatre was inaugurated on 3 August 1778. Most of Italy's greatest operatic artists, and many of the finest singers from around the world, have appeared at La Scala. The theatre is regarded as being one of the leading opera and ballet theatres globally.
The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is Italy's oldest active shopping arcade and a major landmark of Milan. Housed within a four-story double arcade in the centre of town, the Galleria is named after Victor Emmanuel II, the first king of the Kingdom of Italy. It was designed in 1861 and built by architect Giuseppe Mengoni between 1865 and 1877. The structure consists of two glass-vaulted arcades intersecting in an octagon covering the street connecting Piazza del Duomo to Piazza della Scala.
Giovanni Donato's Crucifixion
Painted in 1495, it is on the wall facing Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper in the refectory of the convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan. This fresco is said to have some of the figures of the Duke and his family painted by Leonardo.

The painting represents the scene of the Last Supper of Jesus with the Twelve Apostles, as it is told in the Gospel of John – specifically the moment after Jesus announces that one of his apostles will betray him. Its handling of space, mastery of perspective, treatment of motion and complex display of human emotion has made it one of the Western world's most recognizable paintings and among Leonardo's most celebrated works.
